Lita Ford
The high point: Becoming a superstar in the 80's with classics such as "Kiss Me Deadly", "Close My Eyes Forever", and "Gotta Let Go".
The downfall: Marrying former Nitro singer/douchebag Jim Gillette in 1994; releasing 2009 album Wicked Wonderland which got many negative reviews. The majority of the album featured guest vocals from talentless Gillette. (Side note: I thought the album was great sans "Inside", but I will admit I was disappointed).
Result of downfall: Lita does not tour to support the album as planned and instead decides to work on a reality show. Despite the silly plans though, she still remains classy, sober, and legendary like she always is.
How she redeemed herself: Divorced Jim Gillette, started doing some shows and festivals, made an AMAZING appearance on That Metal Show back in April, is slated to release a new album later this year reminiscent of her classic material called The Healing, which Lita claims to be her "actual comeback album." Lita also said on the TMS episode that she planned on "coming back Tina Turner style."
Christina Aguilera
The high point: Becoming one of the best popstars ever in the late 90's/early 2000's with hits such as "Genie In A Bottle", "What A Girl Wants", and "Come On Over Baby", the singles on her second and third albums weren't as huge (aside from "Beautiful"), but they were still critically acclaimed albums with personal lyrics that many people could relate to.
The downfall: During the height of her popularity, she apparently became a huge bitch and snubbed pretty much everyone from Mary J. Blige to Valerie Bertinelli; in 2010 released Bionic, which was not a personal album (or at least I hope not with "Woohoo" on there), and it was obviously a cheap attempt to sound like Lady Gaga, whom she has insulted in the past, and of course, one word: Burlesque.
Result of downfall: She divorces her husband Jordan Bratman, whom she claimed to be "The Right Man" on her 2006 album Back To Basics, supposedly cheated on him with some douchebag during the set of Burlesque, became an alcoholic, became fat, f**ked up the National Anthem, fell at the Grammy's, got arrested for public intoxication. Not classy at all.
How she redeemed herself: In a recent interview, she claimed that her floppingness from the past year has "humbled" herself, is one of the coaches on hit NBC singing competition The Voice where she comes across nice and respectful (except when she bust chops with Adam Levine ), said in the same interview that she is working on a new album which is supposed to be another personal album and no s**t about woohoos and elastic love.

I'd love to see both of them make monster comebacks, but I definitely think THE EMANCIPATION OF LITA is more likely! WORK IT LITA! GET THAT TINA TURNER STYLE COMEBACK GIRL!
